Are you a Qualified Management Accountant that is looking for a bit more variety in a multi-client environment?
Can you provide training and mentoring to junior team members?
Can you provide assistance to the Management Accountants/Assistants to ensure good quality, consistent output across the department?
In this role you will be able to do all of the above as well as keeping hands on with the accurate delivery of quality periodic Management Accounts.
Key
Responsibilities:
• To be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of quality periodic management reports, and other ad hoc reports across all clients.
• Responsible for maintaining a timetable for all clients and assuring that it is adhered to
• To provide technical assistance to the Management Accountants and Management Accounts Assistants to ensure good quality, consistent output across the department.
• One to one training and mentoring including giving feedback to individuals to improve the quality of accounts collaborating with our trainer on the Centre of Excellence.
• To review quality of output providing advice on improvement and ensuring standardisation across the clients.
• To consult internally with all departments.
• To assist with the building of client relationships by ensuring customer satisfaction and measuring quality of client satisfaction through client surveys.
• To conduct ad hoc analyst support to Accounting Services Team, Head of Accounting Services and Directors as required.
• To roll out any process improvements as required.
• To supporting the Onboarding of new clients, including learning any new systems, ensuring that their accounts are of an acceptable standard before handing them over to the individual teams
• To provide resilience for reporting as required in the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Fully Qualified - CIMA, ACA or ACCA
• Excellent knowledge of a variety of accounting software
• Ability to manage a multi-client environment and potentially conflicting deadlines
• Mentoring and training peers experience.
• IT literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Effective communication skills - internally and externally
• Initiative-taking with good people skills.
• Reliable
• Must be a team player
