Job & Division Summary:

About IBS

Established over 35 years ago and numbering circa 35 employees, we supply Blowers, Industrial Vacuums, Vacuum Pumps, Biogas Compressor, Portable Vacuum, Pneumatic and Vacuum Conveying and Fabrication products and services to the Industrial, Utility, Manufacturing, Road Tanker, Muncipal and Commercial sectors in the UK.

There are three operational sites based in Hanwell, Poole and Teesside.



Responsibilities:

• Managing 1 member of staff whose duties include : purchase and sales ledger's and bank transactions.
• Maintain General Ledger
• Processing credit cards, fixed assets and accruals & prepayments, payroll journals etc.
• Review COS/Margins prior to MI submission
• Reconciliation of Inter Company balances with IR companies
• Production of management accounts with variance analysis.
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations into Blackline System
• Providing financial insight to the management team and providing financial support to the administration staff at depots
• Preparation of weekly Sales/Order Book and budgets and comparison to monthly results
• Preparation of Year End Audit documentation.

Key Competencies:

• Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar accounting/payroll software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Adaptable, with excellent problem-solving skills & a commitment to process improvement.
• Enthusiastic and reliable.
