Due to an increase in business, we have a requirement for a qualified Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the management of the European Finance Department and associated activities, including maintaining financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, completion of statutory obligations and production of internal reporting.

Education, work experience and skills.

• Up to date technical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS Accounting
• Understanding revenue accounting
• Understanding of the functions of an integrated accounting system. Experience with Maconomy and Oracle desirable
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel (advanced level) and accounting software
• ACA / CIMA / ACCA - fully qualified
• Proactive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach to work
• A strong team player with a collaborative approach to work
• Excellent relationship building skills with employees at all levels
• Experience of managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
• Proactive attitude to improving processes
