Purpose of Role:
Liquid Products is a division of Marex, which is composed of several distinct product lines, most of which will not take position risk and work on a matched principle basis:
- Equities (split into Equity Derivatives and Cash Equities)
- Credit
- Rates (incl. FF&O, IRS)
- Fixed Income
- FX
- Financing
These businesses will not only serve external clients but also create synergies through providing liquidity to existing Divisions within Marex.
Liquid Products has a global footprint - EMEA (London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Dubai), US (New York, Chicago, Miami), APAC (Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney) and encompassing around 390 Front Office FTE.


Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the LP COO and Marex Technology team to document existing processes and workflows.
- Identify business requirements, dependencies and priorities.
- Proactively suggest improvements in production processes, outlining benefits and providing process flow documentation.
- Assist with the evaluation of third party vendor systems and services.
- Support the development team in story creation, refinement and story pointing.
- Assist with managing project activities, processes and work packages to ensure the achievement of project deliverables.
- Help to shape future state IT architecture in terms of functional requirements, aligned to Marex Technology strategy.
- Support the roll out and testing of internally built or externally provided platforms for the Liquid Products Business.
Skills & Experienced Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, organised and driven attitude to work.
- Project management experience, or change management skills are desirable.
- Proven ability to listen to stakeholders showing a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Working understanding of financial products traded on and off exchange.
- Prior track record in business analysis for front-office facing projects.
- Demonstrable experience with process flow and business processes.
- Ability to balance and prioritise activities.
- Experience and understanding of agile project management practices.
- Proactive and self starting. Able to work without direct supervision and escalate issues.
- Proficiency in Alteryx coding.
