The Opportunity

We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a Commercial Analyst, in this key role you will be provide support to the entire Savoury Pastry Commercial Finance team. Assisting in providing high quality information to ensure the category understands customer profitability and to deliver high quality reporting information to internal and external stakeholders. In this role you will be:
  • Provide support on product costings for existing and new product developments
  • Weekly and monthly sales reporting reconciliation
  • Completion of commercial & sales related balance sheet reconciliations for review with Senior Commercial Manager / Head of Commercial Finance
  • Supporting the Senior Commercial Finance Manager on gross margin analysis and reporting
  • Post promotional analysis and review
  • Supporting on post launch reviews
  • Inflation recovery tracking for MSP changes implemented
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and standardise ways of working across Savoury Pastry Commercial Finance and the Bakery Finance teams
  • The role is key to supporting the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and Head of Commercial Finance, enabling them to partner across Savoury Pastry, to provide consistency in reporting and value adding insights to support robust decision making.

The Right Person

We are one big team and we look for people to join our business who want to work with others but take responsibility for doing their best every day to help to make the business a success. We also need:
  • Be part qualified accountant, preferably ACA or CIMA;
  • Have a background in a manufacturing and/or FMCG business;
  • System 21, MS AX, Recipe Professor experience
  • Strong analytical and questioning ability
  • Confident communicator
