We have a suite of user-friendly, online collaboration tools that enable our clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors to work together to deliver social value. Our core offering is an evidence-led social value measurement framework, called the Social Value TOM System (Themes, Outcomes and Measures). We not only provide a platform, but our proposition spans a consultancy division, as well as a new social value learning academy.

Who we are looking for

You’ll be self-motivated individual, keen to come in and quickly establish relationships and a plan to get things done. The role will suit someone with a delivery mind-set, who has a solid, pragmatic approach and has a passion for collaboration. You’ll be comfortable at lightning speed, leaving in your wake robust mechanisms for tracking and demonstrating success.

Reporting to the CFO, you will contribute to the smooth running of the company’s central operations by providing financial guidance, exercising control and influence over costs and performance.

What you will be doing
  • Responsible for accounts payable, VAT returns, internal transfers, bank reconciliations and be the initial contact for managing agents, solicitors and auditors
  • Provide financial support and accurate management accounts for the business including P&l, Balance sheet and cashflow.
  • Analysis of business issues and proposals reporting monthly on cost control
  • Responsible for administrative matters
  • Line management of our Credit Controller and Accounts Supervisor
  • Business partner with commercial teams on reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analytics support to ensure relevant, accurate financial information is available to all stakeholders.
  • Ownership of budget & forecast processes
  • Manage expense approvals and payroll
  • Oversee & run annual budget process, collating relevant information & forecasts.
  • Run high level quarterly reforecast process.
  • Production of board packs for the above processes
  • Oversight of generation & development of regular commercial finance reporting
  • Work closely with People & Culture for headcount forecasting and recruitment spend
  • Support CFO with month end process where required.
  • Support Revenue Operations with pricing process and modelling when required
  • Other ad hoc financial analytics & modelling

Requirements
  • Experience within a SaaS business (start-up, scale-up or otherwise).
  • Experience across ARR, net and gross retention ratio, CAC and cohort analysis.
  • Have previous business partnering experience.
  • Have familiarity with accounting & data warehouse systems (Ideally Salesforce, PowerBI, MS365 and Xero)
  • Possess strong/advanced Excel skills.
  • Can work at all levels of the organisation and develop relationships throughout the business to foster effective two-way communications.
  • Can prioritise and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive business awareness gained from significant exposure in related work
  • Ideally PQ/Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA but more than happy to consider applications from AAT qual & QBE candidates with relevant experience and skillset
