Role Profile

This role is part of the Capital Markets FX Business Partnering team. This role will partner with senior stakeholders in the FX business to enable decision making and drive growth, predominantly partnering with the Head of FX Sales and Sales LT.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop trusted strategic relationships with stakeholders across the FX business across multiple business lines, including product and sales teams focused on partnering closely with the Head of FX Sales and Sales LT
  • Develop a good understanding of the business and actively look for ways to support stakeholders and enable decision making to achieve shared business goals each year
  • Lead the annual planning process for FX revenue across FXall and FX Venues usage and recurring revenue to deliver growth in line with the short and long-term growth expectations of the business across products. Work with Proposition, Product and regional sales teams to ensure plans are executable appropriately in each region as well as globally
  • Own revenue forecasting for FX, highlighting risks and opportunities to Plan through the year
  • Design, maintain and administer annual commissions plans for FX across account management and new business globally, ensuring appropriate incentives in place to drive sales behaviour necessary for achievement of financial and non-financial objectives
  • Drive growth of the business with through data driven observations and analytical insight of KPI data, pipeline reviews, pushing the sales team to deliver on sales targets
  • Increase the analytics capabilities across the Finance and business team, leading new initiatives to interrogate data, innovate reporting and improve insight
  • Key Liaison between the Sales and Product teams to ensure alignment on new areas of growth
  • Work with FX Finance, Capital Markets Finance, Central Finance and other teams across LSEG to communicate drivers, results and outcomes for the business

Behaviours and skills required to be successful in the role:
  • Strong financial background, qualified accountant: ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in a Finance role
  • Pro-active behaviour that demonstrates initiative, leadership, and positive work ethic to ensure activities are delivered to the highest standards in accordance with deadlines
  • Proven track record in Business Partnering:
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data
  • Strong customer-focus with a commercial mindset and good communication skills
  • Proven track record of leading Budgets and regular forecasting process across a number of business areas and functions
  • Ability to deliver presentation materials and analysis to a high standard
  • Driver of change, constantly looking for improvements in processes
  • Ability to influence senior management to consider key financial issues within the business
  • Ability to deal with complex issues and ambiguity, and implement practical and innovative solutions to problems to drive the business
  • Adept at conveying complex financial information to both finance and non-finance partners
  • Ability to manage direct and indirect reports in a matrix model and work with the COE
  • Work effectively in teams and across functions of the business
  • Expert with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
