Business Manager - Business Banking

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager our ideal candidate is someone that genuinely enjoys helping customers and has a track record for delivering excellent service.

This role involves assisting business customers with requests such as home lending, business lending, equipment finance and credit cards. You will also contribute to customer retention by proactively contacting customers in response to needs based leads. Working closely with internal business partners across Westpac you will take ownership of ensuring business customers get the support they need, when they need it.

• Some form of tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounting is preferred.
• We are looking for people passionate about delivering top notch service to business customers.
• An interest in learning about business lending and a desire to pursue a career in Business Banking are essential.
• Most of the customer interactions in the Business team occur via phone or email so you will need excellent verbal and oral communication skills and be able to represent the business unit in a friendly and professional manner.
