The Opportunity
We are looking for an Insurance Consultant who is looking for a unique and diverse role to join our Hamilton team.
This varied role will see you supporting an established book of Local Government clients through the insurance renewal lifecycle. Not only will you become a great broker, you will be involved in the planning and the execution of several events. Excellent organisation skills is essential
Day to day you might work on:
- Responding to client enquiries
- Document management
- Preparing client renewal paperwork
- Premium negotiations
- Policy and new business submissions
- Diary and travel management
- Event coordination
There will be a focus on strong customer service, integrity, time management and ensuring clients walk away having had an excellent experience.
About you
You must come from an insurance consulting background, but we are open to hearing from people who can demonstrate proven client management skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Corporate insurance experience, understanding of local government and risk
- Proven experience in event management or worked in an Executive Support role
- The ability to deliver high standards of quality client service
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities
- Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Positive attitude and drive to succeed.
