Nespresso currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Controller within the Finance team to help support the New Zealand market with the achievement of its business objectives.

Located in Parnell, Auckland this will be both a challenging and rewarding position. As a Business Co-Pilot you will be ensuring quality, integrity and reliability of all financial information and reports.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be involved in but not limited to:
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the Monthly Internal reporting
  • Act as a point of contact for Nestle Business Services accounting related queries
  • Managing aspects of financial forecasting to Nespresso HQ and local Nestle in relation to the P&L for the B2B function
  • Working closely with B2B team to ensure that sales forecasts and operational plans are financially modelled
  • Ensuring that all internal month end and forecasting deadlines are completed according to defined timings
  • Assisting the team with systems support and maintaining existing Power BI reporting
  • Ensuring a maximum level of internal controls is maintained and that policies and procedures are adhered to.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following criteria:
  • Minimum of 3 years previous accounting experience and a proven finance background.
  • Preferably working towards a CPA/CA qualified
  • Degree qualified in accounting.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good analytical, planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • This role requires the ability to work with and manage other internal departments and think outside the box when solutions are required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel would be highly desirable.
