Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all financial transactions are completed on time and in full compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Assist in the month-end close preparation in order to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Complete the required Management reports on time and with accuracy. Highlight any inconsistencies and investigate and discuss the cause with senior management.
• May be in charge of preparing tax returns and reconciling work in progress accounts.
• Prepare financial transaction and audit reports, as well as analyse budget forecasting.
• May help with debtor and cash management, as well as forecasting.
• Examine any accounting or financial irregularities and develop an action plan to address them.
• Ensure full compliance and approval in accordance with company policies, as well as compliance with applicable legislation in effect at the time of action.
• May be required to supervise, mentor, and develop team members' skills.
