We are seeking an ambitious and motivated individual who is keen to meet the challenges of contributing to a dynamic environment & team. The role is a key member of the finance team, with a commercial focus, responsibility for revenues and costs in their designated division.

Please note this role requires travel into our Birmingham office once per week.

  • First line review of divisional financial reporting
  • Working with the relevant analysts to generate accurate month end journals
  • Ensuring all associated costs are reflected in the management accounts including posting prepayments and accruals as necessary
  • Ensuring reported revenue is accurate and consistent with revenue recognition principles, and that all expected revenue is booked appropriately
  • Assist the Finance Business Partner investigate variances to budget and forecast
  • Assist the Finance Business Partner with consolidation and reporting of all revenue streams from KPI’s to recognised revenue.
  • Aid in preparation of monthly/quarterly MI, re-forecasts and budget
  • Audit and Balance Sheet support as and when required
  • Support in resolving aged debts, invoicing problems and maintenance of accurate ARR
  • Supporting the transition of business systems and processes to become best in class
  • Supporting the transition of acquired entity data accurately into central systems
  • Supporting customer negotiations through Deal Desks and Heal Desks with FBPs

  • Ideally part-Qualified (ACA/ACMA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business / Economics / Marketing / Finance or other relevant subject preferred
  • Good analytical skills; an understanding of quantitative/financial techniques and problem-solving mindset
  • Good understanding of Financial and Management accounting
  • Strong reconciliation experience
  • Solid Excel expertise an advantage
  • Good communication, presentation and writing skills
