We are looking for a Senior Analyst - Management Accounting to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore, IN.
How will you contribute to the team
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Assisting the Budget holders to prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts of costs & providing analysis of data .
• Prepare accurate and high quality Management accounts for various operations/business units.
• Provide an insightful commentary for monthly numbers and variances.
• Accounting journal entries for accruals, prepayment releases and cost recharges & adjustments.
• Communication with non-financial staff, in particular ensure that they understand and comply, as appropriate, with Group systems, procedures and policies.
• Ensure costs that needs to be accounted in a particular month is appropriately accounted. This includes time-sheet & invoice follow-ups.

What will you contribute

• 3+ years of extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis function in a preferably in shared services environment of a multinational organisations.
• Excellent General accounting skills.
• Experience in usage of Hyperion/JDE would be an added advantage.
• Well-versed with advanced Excel functions.
• Intense curiosity about understanding key drivers of variance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently under minimal supervision.
