We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Financial Operations to join one of our dynamic law firm clients on a permanent basis. This is a busy and varied role where the Head of Financial Operations will manage the Global Finance Operations team, implementing process improvements, driving effective, efficient finance processes and build a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Principle duties:

• Ensure all operational finance processes and controls are best practice and standardised across the group.
• Create and contribute towards business cases for Finance change projects that support the firm's wider strategic objectives.
• Create new, and developing existing, guidance and governance policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
• Identify opportunities to automate and enhance processes, workflow, and systems and implement these.
• Own operational issues, seeing them through to resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local law society regulations.

The ideal candidate for the Head of Financial Operations role must have prior experience ideally from a law firm, as well as previous supervisory / management experience. Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with PQE, or part qualified with appropriate experience and understanding of financial processes would be considered. Knowledge of the software Aderant or Elite is beneficial but not essential. You must be able to perform at high levels in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, be able to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands, and be able to use your time efficiently.
