Head of Financial Planning and Analysis Certsure
Certsure are embarking on an exciting phase of business growth and seek to appoint an experienced and commercially minded Head of Financial Planning and Analysis who can deliver outstanding operational financial leadership.
Certsure offers industry leading certification services, Building Regulations schemes, products and support to contractors working across the building services sectors. Delivering products through the NICEIC brand they are dedicated to ensuring the safety of both tradespeople and consumers.
About the role
The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will manage a team of 5 with 3 Business Finance Partners as direct reports. This is a hybrid role and there will be a requirement to work from our head office in Dunstable, Bedfordshire for a minimum of 2 days per week.
This is an executive role, providing leadership that elicits a culture of care and high performance and works collaboratively with the Operational Leadership Team (OLT) to guide and advise on matters pertaining to financial management.
You will be responsible for Managing forecasting, reporting, business partnering and decision support activities across the business and will provide commercial insight and enhance the analysis of financial performance.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a clear and compelling finance leader who will promote a high-performance culture and ensure that individuals are engaged, aligned, motivated and competent to carry out their responsibilities and that there is sufficient capacity to deliver objectives.
You must be a qualified accountant and member of a professional accountancy body (i.e., ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with demonstrable and significant experience of leading the management reporting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle in a similar sized commercial business.
Ideally, you will also have experience of financial management in a significant change management and business transformational environment.
It is important that you are able to demonstrate that you can collaborate with non-financial colleagues and develop cross-functional relationships and that you are committed to your own personal and professional self-development and that of your line reports.
