Search are partnering with a high growth PLC within the retail space who are looking for their first Head of FP&A in an expanding team based in Leicester. This organisation have grown both organically and through acquisitions and hence require a commercially minded individual to provide key process improvements and drive efficiency within the business.

Working mostly remote, with 1 day a week in office the perfect individual will have key competencies with budgets and forecasts, with a bias on development including strong modelling skills. The progression in this role is expansive with the opportunity to build the FP&A function within the next 12-18 months.

Finally, this candidate will have to report into the board of directors, meaning the capacity to build strong relationships is imperative alongside the desire to progress the business as a whole.



Responsibilities:

• Production of annual budgets and forecasts
• Managing the development of the budgets and forecast models
• Ability to produce the P&L, Cash flows and Balance Sheets
• Monitor performance and highlight key trends
• Working closely with Finance and Commercial teams on development of BI Tools and Dashboard reports
• Analysis of complex data
• Support the SMT
• Preparations of Board presentations
• Responsible for a direct report

Person:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
• Relevant experience within an FP&A role
• Advanced excel skills
• Ability to create Dashboards
• Can manipulate large pieces of data
• Attention to detail

Having experience with Power BI would be an advantage but not essential

A competitive salary worth up to £85,000 + package and the ability to work mostly remote (1 day a week in office).
