Senior Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Francisco, CA. Assist a variety of clients to solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Provide clients value through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies. Applying business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Apply project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Support in leading engagements and perform business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $137,500-137,500/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus (6) six years of related work experience (of which 5 years are post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience).

In the alternative, the employer will accept Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus (4) four years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  • Working with Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures including pre-deal operations and information technology due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, and/or post-close transformation;
  • Conducting resource requirements, project workflow, budgets and status updates;
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or proven record of success in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards;
  • Programming and data mining in at least two of the following: Oracle Analytics, MS SQL-Server, MS Access, SAS, Tableau or Qlikview, Hadoop, NoSQL and/or other Big Data Technologies; and
  • Developing financial statements and deals- related financial and operational analyses.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel up to 80% is required.
