Credit Controller

After 20 years, our fabulous Diane is retiring so if you are an experienced Credit Controller, right now is the time to join! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control function within the business and ensuring that all accounts are maintained in a timely and accurate manner. The business has approx. $170M turnover, 1200 clients, 200 staff nationally and of that about 140 at our Palmerston North site where this position will be based.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring that all accounts are maintained accurately and up-to-date.

• Ensuring that all payments are received on time and chasing up any overdue payments.

• Working closely with other departments within the business to resolve any payment issues.

• Producing regular reports on the status of the accounts receivable ledger.

• Maintaining accurate customer records and updating these as required.

• Working with the sales team to ensure that credit limits are set appropriately and managing any changes to these limits. • Developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience using SAP is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
