Senior Internal Audit Manager – Birmingham
A leading and very well known Investment Banking organisation are searching for individuals to join their growing team based in Birmingham!
This is a great opportunity in which you will be responsible for a range of Large and Complex Audits across the Investment Bank
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead Quality Assurance reviews (cold and real-time) of large, complex audit files and findings closures for compliance with methodology and appropriateness of risk coverage
• Manage large and complex QA Finding Validation reviews (F4, F3 Trilateral)
• Manage/drive QA Themed Reviews assessing key processes within Group Audit
• Perform projects and special assignments, as required
• Identify and report themes and trends

Ideally, you will have the following skills set:

• Experience in an Internal Audit role covering financial services topics and reviewing audit work (Internal Audit Quality Assurance experience a plus)
• Expertise in either of the following Subject Matter Expert (SME) areas a plus: Investment Bank/ Markets, Information Technology (IT)
• Strong understanding of audit process and methodology
• Team working capabilities together with ability to build business and team relationships
• Knowledge/understanding of Microsoft applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Professional audit or financial certification (such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) preferred, or educated to Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification/work experience preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
