Schedule and implements internal audits throughout HCI IC as per the audit plan, criteria and scope.

Prepare audit reports and circulate to the concern parties in time.

Provide EHS audit reports to the EHS Compliance Head to inform of the status of EHS performance.

Maintain effective communications with the EHS Compliance head to ensure an adequate flow of EHS information relating to HCI IC EHS performance.

Follow up with Projects on the closure of audit recommendations and verification of compliance.

Co-ordinate all L&T HCI BU EHS matters by receiving regular reports, making EHS visits, and ensuring that information is circulated to keep all concerned fully informed.

Co-ordinate the activities of any independent EHS Consultants.

Ensure the coordination of the IMS accreditation annually

Make recommendations to the appropriate management on all matters relating to EHS.

Prepare information required for HCI IC EHS Management review meeting every 12 months

Provide input into the tendering process to ensure that statutory requirements are planned into projects at the earliest opportunity.

Review the HCI IC policies & procedures every 12 months as a minimum or as dictated by legislation or current events.
