The role of Senior Account Manager is integral in ensuring that Blackjack Promotions are the industry leader in delivering staffing solutions and operational support to our clients within Travel Retail, Passenger and Guest Services and across the UK. Reporting to the head of department and working closely with the operations teams across the UK. The role requires excellent communication skills to both colleagues, staff and clients. Managing expectations of all is critical to a smooth-running account, as well as being well organised and strategic in planning and executing campaigns. Working with a variety of brands means that this role requires a creative and innovative thinker with a real understanding of differing yet clear values and ambitions. The role requires a collaborative approach between Blackjack Promotions and our clients to ensure operational excellence, which meets brand, landlord and Blackjacks expectations.

o To develop strong relationships with customers, ensuring regular contact to enable understanding of requirements and challenges, ensuring Blackjack are meeting expectations.

o To represent Blackjack to our clients and develop strong professional relationships with key contacts.

o To support a ‘One Team’ approach with the landlord (retailer/ airport) and the brands, ensuring a joined up approach and understanding of service expectation and delivery.

o Understand the daily operations in the UK; with specific reference to your category.

o Understanding the individual needs of the clients you manage, ensuring this is communicated to the Staffing and Operations Team.

o Working closely with the Staffing Team and Operations Managers to communicate the need for new recruits and specialist skills required and profile accordingly.

o Work closely with the Management Team to drive business development; identifying areas for improvement and expansion; including contribution to proposals for the development of new projects of existing clients.

o To arrange and attend pre/ and post promotional set up meetings with customers.

o To create regular feedback and reports for all accounts with a particular focus on added value and anecdotal reference to support sales results.

o To be commercially savvy and provide analysis to clients on current local and global impactors to their business.

o Work with local Ops team to build understanding of current sales results and implement relevant actions.

o To lead regular business reviews, providing clients with updates on the Blackjack business and the brand relationship, including status quo on financials, activity, challenges and successes.

o Ensure that all activities are implemented effectively, on time and on budget.

o To provide quotations

o To ensure all financial aspects of the role are kept up to date and billing completed correctly and on time

o To assist the Head of Client Services with budgeting and the control of costs o Manage booking requests

o Providing innovative solutions to problems and/ or needs


o Based at World Business Centre with a need to travel to multiple sites.
