Financial Accountant

Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Warwick based multinational business in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

We are seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant with the ability to understand key accounting concepts and group accounting policies, working with the Shared Service Centre to ensure all accounting and reporting deadlines are met to required standards.

responsibilities:

- Ensure month end accounts are prepared in accordance with the Group's accounting policies
- Prepare month end journals and support the Shared Service Centre with the monthly close
- Review and analyse monthly results to ensure that accounting entries are accurate
- Identify risks and opportunities, working with business stakeholders
- Lead the balance sheet account reconciliation process with the Shared Service Centre to ensure all ledgers are reconciled, open items are investigated and rectified in a timely manner and ready for the financial controllers review
- Analyse processes and systems and identify areas for improvement, working in partnership to realise benefits
- Support internal JSox testing and Internal Audit activities as required
- Provide necessary information and analysis required by external auditors to enable timely completion for consolidation and external reporting.
- Support projects as required, including HQ-driven and multi-region initiatives
