Our Private Fund Group (PFG) is the world's leading placement agent with three main lines of business. In our Primaries business, we raise capital for domestic and international direct investment firms, including private equity, buyout, real assets, credit/distressed, secondary, infrastructure and emerging markets funds, from investors worldwide, including public pension, corporate pension, sovereign wealth, endowments, foundations, financial/insurance companies and family offices. In our Capital Solutions (Secondary and Co-invest) business, we advise clients seeking to sell limited partner fund interests or portfolios of direct assets through secondary transactions, such as GP-led continuation funds, and we help clients raise co-investment for direct investment opportunities.

We have professionals located in New York, London, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo and Sydney.

Our Capital Solutions role provides excellent exposure to the origination and execution of secondaries and co-investment transactions, primarily focusing on advising GP's looking to raise continuation funds to provide exits to their mature funds, as well as a broad range of other transactions including co-investment raise, LP fund sales, and direct asset sales, to resolving other situations through structured solutions. Capital Solutions team members work with a wide variety of external counterparties and clients, including LPs, GPs, corporates, individuals and government organizations. The PFG is widely recognized as a market leader, with a proven record in closing some of the largest and most complex secondary transactions in the market.

Responsibilities:


An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role, PFG Analysts are expected to perform at a high level and take the initiative to come up to speed quickly assuming increasing levels of responsibility. They can expect a broad exposure to all aspects of the transaction process including:
  • Providing upfront strategic advice and evaluating prospective clients
  • Articulating complex marketing stories and preparing in-depth transaction materials
  • Opportunities to travel and work with a global client base
  • Daily client interaction with senior private equity executives
  • Interacting with and supporting the broader PFG team
