A hedge fund in California is actively seeking a driven and highly organized professional to join their staff as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the company's entire finance and operation functions.

Responsibilities

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will:

• Lead and oversee finance and operations functions on daily basis
• Manage a team of professionals to support daily trading activities and to respond to issues with the operation flow
• Ensure all procedures and controls, which are already in place, are well maintained, and continue improve over time
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with sell-side brokers, fund operations, and accounting service providers
• Lead the team to ensure timely consolidated financial reports across operating businesses, including monthly and quarterly reports, maintain cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for the region
• Manage the monthly delivery of management reporting package, analytics of variances, and annual budgeting review
• Manage Audit and Internal Audit processes for funds and corporate entities
• Review statutory accounts for group companies and funds
• Participate in Risk Committee and risk analytical review

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• 5+ years of buyside experience
• 8+ years of total experience
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Ability to multitask
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
