    To oversee operations of the Data and Controls capability in Enterprise Services. Responsible for planning organizing controlling and managing of a department within a Business Unit

    experience and qualifications


    • Relevant Degree Relevant Post Graduate

    • 5 to 8 years experience in a similar environment of which 2 to 3 years ideally at management level

    • Previous experience in managerial role within Audit, Risk and Data Competencies:

    responsibilities


    • Oversee the Data Controls and Ops Controls which includes:

    • Data Controls: safeguarding of data by monitoring /controlling its recipients, how it is shared, who it is shared with, why it is shared, how long it is stored for. Focuses on email encryption and security

    • Ops control: Simplify and automate enterprise processes to increase visibility and robustness of control environment; improve visibility of costs and performance through process/capability owners and tools. Enabling BUs to achieve and maintain a high standard of control, ensuring alignment with operational risk and control policies and regulations.

    • Operational resilience

    • Manage Cost to Income to increase profitability and

    • Efficiencies Quarterly Business Review sessions

    • Establish, align and manage target and budget goals for the Business Unit, whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency requirements, displaying abilities to listen, advise, influence, negotiate and present at all levels

    • Maintain optimum efficiencies regarding staff numbers and associated resources by setting budget requirements in accordance with the Business plan and monitor compliance

    • Achieve net profit growth for Business

    • Develop and implement differentiated service models for client segments

    • Enable Business Unit service delivery through implementing systems and processes to improve service and implement quality systems and metrics for measuring service levels and satisfaction

    • Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices.

    • Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions.

    • Ensure compliance with audit requirement

    • Achieve integration of processes in areas of responsibility in collaboration with other area, delivering required service levels by monitor that workflow achieves operational requirements and the overall running costs in relation to productivity ratios,

    • Maintaining targeted outputs and AMP financial discipline i.e., budget, growth strategies etc.

    • Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence or information together with analysing trends and data

    • Execute the Business Unit people strategy that nurtures talent and embraces the values, culture and philosophy of entrepreneurship, accountability and innovation in order to meet current and future business needs

    • Hold direct reports accountable for the implementation of the leadership strategy that drives behaviour towards high performance
