The Opportunity

This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive insurance professional to join our Wellington team as an Account Manager, focusing on key corporate and commercial clients.

A varied role where no two days are the same, you will be the key point of contact for a number of longstanding clients. Working with both existing and new clients, you will have ample opportunity to provide exceptional service and demonstrate your impressive relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Managing client servicing requirements in an efficient and timely manner
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, both within our existing client base and new business
  • Providing professional, accurate and efficient response to client needs through liaison with clients and underwriters
  • Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
  • Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations
  • Processing & invoicing of premiums

About you

If you consider yourself to be proactive and self-motivated with previous Account Management experience and a talent for building excellent client relationships, then this could be the opportunity for you!

Key to your success, you will also be able to demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in insurance broking
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to get along with a wide variety of people
  • Level 5 qualified
