My client is a market leading utilities company specialising in renewable energies. This modern company has recorded record performances in 2021 and 2022.

They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on their Blyth-based site.

This is a very stable role at an established business with a generous contributory pension scheme, 30 days holiday (pro rata), private medical and a company bonus scheme.

About the Purchase Ledger Clerk Role:

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for all purchase ledger duties including inputting all invoice data into the Sage 200 system.

The Post Holder will provide administration support to the Finance team and will be working particularly closely with the Finance Director.

You will perform any necessary bank, petty cash or nominal reconciliations.

On a daily basis you will liaise with suppliers setting up new accounts on the system, making any changes to existing accounts and dealing with any supplier queries.

Key Skills:

* AAT or equivalent (Desirable).

* A minimum of two years’ experience working in a busy accounts department.

* The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, and a good understanding and experience of working with various software including Microsoft and Sage 50.

* Recent accounts administration experience and good computer skills.

* £13,341 per annum for 3 days per week (22.5 hours) 4 days may be considered
