Audit Internship

This internship will be full-time, lasting 12 weeks starting in May/June.

Remote in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah

Cambia's Financial Accounting Services (FAS) is dedicated to providing world class financial and accounting services through excellence in people, process and technology. The Audit Intern is part of the Financial Business Controls team, and assists FAS in meeting the financial and accounting needs of the organization by performing an annual assessment of internal controls over financial reporting (similar to Sarbanes Oxley). The team also provides relevant reporting, consulting and transaction processing services. These services enable the organization to make informed business decisions, meet compliance standards and increase operational efficiencies all while advancing the integrity of our brand and Cause.

Join our team where you will play an essential role assisting in the planning and execution of the company's annual assessment of internal control over financial reporting.

As an Audit Intern, you will be an integrated member of the team:
  • Assisting with audit testing
  • Supporting the internal control evaluation lifecycle:
    • Gathering, collecting and assembling data and information from disparate sources
    • Conducting surveys to obtain organizational updates
    • Assisting in documenting key business processes in partnership with process owners and subject matter experts
    • Aiding in implementing tests, of financial, application and controls, demonstrating the adequacy of internal controls and monitoring overall compliance
  • Interacting with leaders at all levels of the organization


Combine your academic experience with the following skills and abilities:
  • Minimum of two years university education working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Business or related field
  • Candidates who have completed their degree in the last six months or expect to complete their degree in the next nine months are preferred
  • Completion of the Intermediate Accounting sequence or its equivalent strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize and complete complex assignments
  • Possess computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment a plus
  • Possess a minimum 3.0 cumulative undergraduate grade point average
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must reside in Idaho, Oregon, Utah or Washington during the duration of the internship
