Accountant I - AP Freight

Job Summary:

This position will process and analyze freight AP. You will also keep financial records updated, prepare reports and work with vendors to clean up outstanding bills.

Responsibilities:

- Process credit applications and obtain credit reports for customers requesting credit

- Receive, verify, and process weekly AP bills

- Analyze AP monthly to track trends

- Review and resolve account discrepancies

- Post payments to customer accounts

Requirements:

- Associate Degree and relevant certification preferred

- Accounting experience, preferably in fast paced environments

- Familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

- Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks, and SAP

- Proven experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
