My client is a growing financial consultancy who work within the renewable energy market. They are looking for Modelling Assistant Manager due to growth within the business.

As a Modelling Assistant Manager, you will be expected to complete projects to a high standard, as well as provide expert technical and industry knowledge.

Duties:

Managing several complex client engagements or components independently and consulting with colleagues where appropriate.
Executing projects and maintaining a review process to ensure projects are completed to a high level.
Providing technical knowledge on projects specifics to junior staff
Passing on pertinent market/client knowledge to senior management.
Managing scope and deliver timely and quality deliverables.
Communicating risk and issue early to appropriate colleagues.
Holding/attending reviews on completion of projects to identify lessons learned and enhance future quality of performance.
Working to maintain professional status/ accreditation.
Profitability charging of individual projects.

Professional Experience
Experience may include:
Experience of working in a consulting role in financial services.
Experience in delivery of large-scale financial projects, including the designing and
implementing of financial operating models.
Financial modelling, budgeting, business planning, forecasting and analysis experience.

Qualifications:
A first level university degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above is desirable but not compulsory
An accounting qualification (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) applied in a financial institution

Person Specification

You must be self-motivated, a team player and adaptable to your working environment. The role requires working to deadlines, prioritising workload and providing a high level of service at all times.
Driving curiosity to solve client problems and respond to a challenge
Passion for understanding the financial drivers for each project, combined with the intellectual and communication skills to help clients understand the impact of those drivers
Confidence in using you own initiative and making decisions at pace
Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to translate this to an Excel model

Expert user of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
The ability to work and communicate as part of a team, and in an effective manner
Skilled at coping well when under pressure from competing priorities and interruptions
Able to apply research skills to solve new issues and make improvements
