We are seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join the Corporate Financial Services team based at our GSR Corporate Office in Auckland.

Reporting to the Financial Services Manager and part of a highly experienced and dedicated team the primary function of this role is to manage daily resources (people and systems) to ensure optimum processing of supplier invoices and allocation of incoming customer receipts.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting (or similar) or;
  • 4 to 5 years' experience working as an AP/AR Team Leader or similar ;
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles ;
  • Experience in managing end to end Accounts Payable process ;
  • Experience in using Accounts Payable automation systems and processes ;
  • Process improvement mindset;
  • Used ERP Accounting Systems, such as SAP (desirable) ;
  • Cash allocation experience ;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel ;
  • Experience with supervision and management of staff ;
  • Ability to work to deadlines ;
  • Attention to detail and be customer service focused, with an ability to form and maintain working relationships with key business stakeholders;
  • Good written and oral communication abilities and be able to plan and prioritise your work in a demanding environment ;
  • Capability of working autonomously and as a member of a team.
