Accounts Assistant
Wrexham
£21,000 – £25,000
I have an exciting opportunity for an Account Assistant to join my client based in their offices in Wrexham.
Suitable candidates will be AAT qualified or part ACA/ACCA qualified and have previous Accounts Payable experience or can demonstrate a commitment to having started a career in Accounts, for example, by commencing studies towards an AAT (or equivalent) qualification.
Duties will include:
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies
* Preparation of business tax computations
* Assistance with VAT returns
* Bookkeeping/management accounts and possibly personal tax work
* Working with Excel spreadsheets
* Payroll co-ordination
Knowledge and Experience:
* Experience in a similar role
* Use of accounting software such as Xero, Sage 50
* Proficient within Excel
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal skills
