Manager, Private Company Services (Multiple Positions)

Manager, Private Company Services (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chicago, IL. Help private companies with a range of business advisory needs to help improve their operational efficiency. Focus on the audit, tax compliance and planning, and business advisory needs of public interest entities, and private companies and their owners. Help private companies make strategic decisions throughout the business cycle to improve cash flow and increase owners’ wealth accumulation. Assist with engagements, balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues. Participate in client discussions and meetings. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or related, plus 5 years of related work experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept 2 additional years of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

Implementing accounting and audit practices in accordance to audit standards, firm audit methodology and guidance; Working with U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and/or AICPA procedures and standards; Demonstrating technical accounting and financial reporting standards; and Applying technical accounting and financial reporting standards.  

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office. 

Travel up to 20% required.
