Job Description
  • To assume full responsibility and accountability to Group Shared Services by delivering prompt, efficient service in the logging in and out of collateral documentation on the Security Management System (SMS).
  • To ensure that accurate instructions are forwarded to attorneys in respect of CCMB and constant follow up on all relevant aspects to minimise any losses and/or risks to the organisation.
  • To monitor & control the inward collateral documents from the different POR's
  • To prepare all collateral and / Performance Bonds / Property guarantees
  • To record, maintain and house all collateral documents and performance bonds
  • To scan all documents to E view
  • To pay out property guarantees
  • To validate and accurately prepare collateral documentation in set turnaround time to assist with clients' credit facilities.
  • Capture of all information on lean screens accurately.
  • Where mandate is held, ensure that all work is checked for accuracy before submitting.

Qualifications
  • Matric
  • Relevant business related tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

Certifications:

Certificate in Banking would be an advantage.

Experience and Skills:
  • 1 - 2 years Banking experience (Non Negotiable)
  • Collateral experience (Non Negotiable)
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • An understanding of the basic business principles/objectives of the different businesses in banking, and a comprehensive understanding of the environment in which they operate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and word.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.

  • Daily accountable for updating and making notes on all required systems.
  • Daily monitoring of work queues and work accounts.
  • Daily accountable to fax and action other branches correspondence received
