Your Role

This is a Payroll Accountantrole where you will play the fundamental role in maintaining general ledger and government and non-government bodies with accurate and timely processing of payroll accounting, reporting and activities. You will build close relationships with diverse professionals. You will enjoy the challenge of continuously improving payroll processes.



ABOUT YOU -
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the General Ledger from the HR System and payroll related activities.
  • You will be responsible for preparation, completion, and payment of returns for various government and non-government bodies, including payroll tax, PAYG, Child Support, Garnishee, Superannuation.
  • You will be responsible for delivering the Analytical support and operational needs around business intelligence for payroll information analysis.
  • You will dhevelop and maintain EOM reporting and reconciliations and EOY requirements and reconciliations.
  • You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, business policies and current laws.
  • You will maintain an internal control environment appropriate to the level of risk.
  • You will prepare and review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances.
  • You will suggest process improvement initiatives to boost end to end process efficiency.
  • You will have a Bachelor/Masters Accounting.
  • You have experience and comprehensive knowledge of the SAP HR/ Finance Systems.
  • You are Advanced in MS Excel.
