Our client, a healthcare services firm located in Kennesaw, is looking to expand their accounting function by adding a newly created Junior Accountant position. We are looking for accountants with 1-5 years of corporate accounting experience for this junior accountant position as the target pay range is $60K-$70K.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and processing of journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliation support
• Bank reconciliation support
• Assisting with month end close and reporting
• General Account Receivable Duties
• Prepare and submit client invoices
• Code, post and deposit client payments
• Monitor AR Aging for past due invoices (including follow up collection procedures)
• Assist clients with billing inquiries and invoice adjustments if necessary
• General Accounts Payable Duties
• Review, verify and process vendor invoices
• Sort, code and enter invoices into Deltek Vision Accounting Software
• Analyze discrepancies and follow up where necessary
• Maintain vendor files
• General Support Functions
• Assist with employee expense reporting
• Perform filing and general finance administrative tasks

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of Corporate Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including strong MS Excel skills required (client will test proficiency in Excel)
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems
