You will be joining:

A large logistics company that provides tailor made services to clients across South Africa, with extensive knowledge of the market and who specializes in Warehousing, Shipping of products and bulk handling.

Your role (not limited to):

• Oversee the application process for all new transporters and maintain file of all application forms
• Verify all documents submitted by transporters to ensure correct info and supporting docs have been submitted
• Liaise with diesel depos and obtain approval from Site Manager regarding filling of diesel for transporters
• Update diesel prices monthly
• Reconciliation of creditors/diesel depo accounts
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and Fleet Management Systems vs Excel diesel master file
• Ensure payments are made within the payment terms of each account and review supplier age analysis regularly
• Process supplier invoices/journal batches on Evolution
• Prepare weekly diesel vs revenue reports
• Prepare requests and invoices for payment
• Timeously follow up on non payment accounts and ensure that the necessary action is taken to avoid losses
• Maintenance of diesel list
• Attend to calls and messages on mobile telephone allocated for all diesel queries and be on standby for emergency calls by transporters
• Oversee that debtors invoices are correctly prepared and ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure that diesel admin fee is charged accordingly
• Review customer age analysis for recovery of group accounts

• Matric certificate
• Extensive creditors experience in an industrial environment
• Debtors knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills - Pivot tables and V-look ups (assessment will be done)
• Sage evolution / Pastel
• Recons experience
• Ability to deal with a dynamic group of people
