A fantastic career opportunity in Gauteng exists for a diligent and highly focused Site Accountant with at least 2 - 3 years' experience in an FMCG (operational level and supervisory experience essential). An accounting degree and CIMA are minimum qualification requirements. Knowledge of MS Excel (advanced - pivot tables, etc.), people management skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise intelligently are also crucial to fulfilling this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full finance function on site, including initiating and maintaining company admin/finance procedures and policies, managing risk and taking corrective action, budget preparation, monitoring and variance reporting, forecasting and financial projections, performing financial month-end up to trial balance, compiling all required reports, managing on-going functioning of IT infrastructure and Human Resources, as well as preparing and assisting with audits.

A deadline-driven individual capable of working effectively in a team, in a pressurised environment, would be best suited to this position.
