The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Finance Intern (12 Month Fixed Term Contract) role will make an impact:
UK Commercial Finance Team
Support the UK Finance organisation in recording Actuals Expenses into local ERP system.
Support the UK Finance business Pertner with the Reporting and Recording of the Product Marketing Budgets.
Review purchase requisitions for coding and allocation into cost centres / elements. (Smartsource / SAP)
Update document departmental files and processes including Controllership matrix.
Support the Local Finance team retrieving data for Monthly/ QTR Balance Sheet management.
Participate in Local forecasting and budgeting processes as required
Regional Commercial Finance Team
Support the Regional Finance Controller in the preparation of the weekly sales analysis
Update the monthly product reporting tools
Liaise between affiliates and regional and corporate functions and support affiliate finance teams in reporting and planning related matters
Produce ad hoc reports and provide analysis to highlight emerging trends across the cluster
Participate in regional forecasting and budgeting processes

About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual
Studying towards an analytical undergraduate degree and expected to achieve 2:1 or higher
Competent use of Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team effectively
Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks
Strong numeracy, attention to detail and data analysis skills
