We are reinforcing our team by offering a 12 Month Student Placement (£18,500 per year) at Blythe Valley Park, Solihull starting in September 2023.

The ZF UK Hub, in a newly built Technical Centre, houses a globally renowned wealth of technical expertise and leading edge development in a comprehensive range of electric motor, actuation, sensing, drive, control, electronics, software and magnetic materials technologies, supported by broader capabilities of mechanical engineering, prototyping and product testing. A group of students will be offered the opportunity to gain valuable experience in this environment.

Your tasks :

• Accounts Receivable:
  • Manage the recovery of debtors.
• Reporting: 
  • Undertaken on weekly or monthly basis and relayed in meetings relevant stakeholders.
  • e. g.:  Balance sheet reconciliations, provide timely and accurate analysis and information to support business decisions, support finance analysts with the month end process, forecasting and planning.
• Projects:
  • Support or take the lead on e.g. fixed asset reviews, Internal control system processes.

Your profile:

• Studying towards a financial qualification.
• Advanced excel skills to analyse large volumes of data.
• Confident with IT systems.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving thinking.
• Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
