Locations: Bracknell or Warrington (Office based 1 – 2 days per week)

As a Graduate joining Fujitsu you will be allocated to one of our Junior Talent Role streams. Each role stream will provide you with the specific training, network and support you need to get off to a flying start in your careers at Fujitsu. You will also benefit from our 2 year Junior Talent Programme focussing on developing you as an individual and providing you with the business and leadership skills you’ll need to succeed.

You will be aligned to Finance which will enable you to develop your skills in Finance.  As a Finance Graduate at Fujitsu you Could be responsible for:

  • Core Financial Services
  • Service Delivery Finance Support
  • Project and Contract Accounting

Working alongside (Finance Professionals, Business Partners, Delivery Executives, Service Delivery Managers) you will:

  • Extend and develop your skills in Excel and other Office tools, enabling best practice financial modelling
  • Develop skills and understanding working on our new ERP SAP
  • Develop core knowledge of fundamental accounting skills and processes.
  • Become a core financial support and expert on one of our customer contracts

Fujitsu has Finance Graduate across a variety of business areas, if successful you would be selected to working in any of the following areas:

Project Finance

  • Alignment & standardisation of Excel tools across all Projects; data mining, profiling & analysis on Timesheets, Costs by nominal code; cross checking to Forecast submissions
  • Variance analysis against forecast – to General Ledger line level [creating coding/vba to automate analysis]
  • Improvements to the Excel tools – adoption of best practice financial modelling
  • Process note documentation – how to guides on tools used by Project Manager/PMO
  • Simple month end tasks; identification of errors and corrections; project admin on journals
  • Preparation of reports for reviews with Project Manager’s/Contract Matter Expert’s; analysis of General Ledger reports, Work in Progress etc.
  • Attendance at Business Reviews and Project Manager reviews

Services

  • Customer Account open book reporting files – support for customer accountant
  • Alignment & standardisation of Excel tools across Service Contract; data mining, profiling & analysis on Timesheets, Costs by nominal code; cross checking to Forecast submissions
  • Exposure to Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews – key accounts on BS e.g.Unbilled Revenue; Work in Progress Deferred revenue.

Service Delivery

  • R&D spend analysis
  • ​Technical resource utilisation analysis and support to cost centre owners
  • ​Support reform reporting
  • ​Order reporting & analysis, customer margin reporting

  • Some applicants may not have traditional qualifications as listed above, and have prior learning and skills developed from the workplace, these will be considered on a case by case basis
