Senior Manager, Tax Reporting and Strategy (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Stamford, CT. Provide management consulting services to clients and to their large corporate tax functions. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory tax developments. Determine strategies in anticipation of tax law changes and regulatory developments. Analyze the economic impact of tax legislation and federal budget proposals and addressing technology needs. Identify and address client’s needs. Supervise and coach teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience (of which 5 years must be post bachelor’s, progressive related work experience).
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Must have a US CPA license or foreign equivalent; or a Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP), or equivalent institutional Data Science program.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Solving tax issues facing multinational US companies or publicly traded entities, with an emphasis on tax compliance and consulting services;
- Working with C#, ASP.NET 2.0, VB.Net, VB 6.0, VBA, Crystal reports, Oracle 9i/10g, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Visio;
- Working with FAS 109 and related software, Beta Management, Organization Design, Process Improvement, Controls, and Risk Management;
- Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues; and
- Development and testing of web based custom pages, web services, custom interfaces (SOAP/XML/flat file).
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel up to 60% is required.
