The Company
My client is large multi-national company that is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join the team. They are a well-known company whose products can be found in homes and businesses throughout New Zealand. Their offices are located in East Tamaki and are easily accessible via the motorway. They offer a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. This a great opportunity to join a well-known company and great team on a 3-month contract that will permanent for the right person.
The Role
In this role you will be working with another Credit Controller and be directly reporting into the Financial Controller. This role is split 70% credit control and the remaining 30% is accounts receivable based. This is a business-to-business environment so you will need to be comfortable communicating externally in a professional manner. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Daily reconciliations and reporting
- Building and maintaining ongoing customer relationships
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Staying on top of issues around product warranties
- Maintaining a tidy ledger by following up on overdue payments
- Monitoring and maintaining customer information
- Ad-hoc reporting as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have a proven experience in Credit Control and have a customer centric focus. You will be strong communicator and comfortable on the phone. As you will be managing a large ledger you will be highly organised and be able to work collaboratively with others.
