Job Details
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for working on multiple assignments throughout the year;
• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly bookkeeping activities for the assigned client(s);
• Core understanding of finance and accounting concepts;
• Identify and assist in solution of engagement (client) technical issues, anomalies, non-routine items;
• Conducts self in a professional manner related to all client communications as well as interaction in team communications and interactions; and
• Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 0-6 months of experience in the field of finance and/or accounting, preferably in US accounting;
• Exposure and basic understanding of US GAAP accounting rules;
• Knowledge of using different accounting software and accounting methods • Strong desire to continuously learn; and
• B.Com. / M.Com. / PGDM (Finance) / MBA (Finance) or semi qualified CIMA, CA or CPA
