A manufacturer and distributor of custom-made interiors for off-road adventure vehicles seek a Balance Sheet Booker who can undertake payroll duties. Requirements:

• Accounting background (Diploma or degree in accounting, management accounting)
• Accounting up to Balance Sheet
• 3 - 5 years experience in bookkeeping in a manufacturing environment
• Working experience of Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll
• Excel Advanced
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to report financial aspects to management when requested

Accounting:

• Daily and monthly cashbook entries and reconciliation of bank account with Pastel payroll
• Management and weekly reconciliation of Petty cash
• Stock ordering, capturing and management of stock via Pastel
• Monthly and daily reconciliation of payments to suppliers
• Monthly rebate calculations on certain customers
• Monthly statement to customers
• Reconciliation of overdue customer accounts and communication with customers
• Monthly reconciliation of the CASH account and communication wrt outstanding payments or invoices of CASH customers
• Daily, monthly, yearend journals
• Forecasting of expenses for the month
• Weekly and or daily reporting of expenses to management in comparison with the forecast
• Monthly Profit and Loss reporting to management
• Two monthly VAT calculations and submissions on all three entities
• Intercompany invoicing
• Fixed asset register
• Liaison with auditors

Payroll:

• Weekly wages on Pastel Payroll (manual calculations on certain entries)
• Monthly salaries (manual calculations on certain entries)
• Monthly EMP201 submissions
• Management of the Clocking system
