RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting Trading desks
Accurate Daily P&L, Derivatives, Physicals and FX
Daily Position Reconciliation

Business Control

Accurate daily position reporting & reconciliation
Accurate daily & monthly PBT tracking & variance explanation
Prepare various reports & presentations on the financial performance of the Trading Desk
Compliance Reporting

Financial Control

Balance Sheet integrity
Month end & Year end Closing
Preparation of budget performance
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests
Monitoring AP/AR

Systems/Projects

Project member in the implementation & roll out of the CTRM
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes

Contacts (Internal/ External)

Work closely in coordination with the trade and operations teams together with the accounting team.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience in similar roles
6+ years' experience in Commodity/Trading/Derivatives/Trade Accounting
Excellent communication skills in English
Advanced skills in in Excel
Highly Detail-orientated
System orientated
