Our client, a large national retail chain is looking for a Rental Accountant to be based in Briairdene, Durban.

• Assist with managing the rental portfolio and provide support and assistance to the Property Manager
• Maintain accurate rental records, resolve queries and ensuring timeous payments
• Rentals to be submitted no later than the last working day of the month for Senqu, and the third working day for CJ
• Ensuring invoices/ statements are received timeously
• Updating and analysing the rental schedule
• Reconciliation of the creditors rental accounts
• Ensuing all queries are timeously resolved
• Check and load payments, where required
• Ensure that all rental payments are allocated to the correct supplier account, the day following payment
• Complete any Adhoc tasks/ special projects including the analysis of information
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Accounting diploma
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in property rentals
