There is a new position in the business for a talented Payroll Team Leader, who will have a mandate of supervising a team and identifying process improvement opportunities.

The Role
  • Manage and coach three direct reports ensuring the timely completion of weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs. You will be able to provide examples of how your leadership style has impacted the careers of those in your team
  • Communicate with regional administrators on system deadlines and provide payroll support by resolving queries from internal business stakeholders
  • Develop improvements in payroll reporting to the business by providing monthly dashboards on employee worked hours and annual leave entitlements
Your Background
  • Considerable experience in medium to large payroll environments (circa 1,000 employees and above) where you have directly or indirectly managed staff. You could already be operating as a Payroll Supervisor/Team Leader or a Payroll Manager in a smaller business
  • The Group payroll function is large, complex and operates in multiple countries. It is expected that you have significant experience in an Award/EA environment and any exposure to international payroll is advantageous
  • Experience using a system used in medium to large payrolls such as SAP/Preceda/PeopleSoft/MicroPay Meridian and a Time & Attendance software is highly beneficial
