Astute are partnering with a fantastic forward-thinking business based near South Normanton to recruit a Commercial Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Financial Controller our client is looking for someone passionate about finance who is dynamic and wants to progress their finance career in a fully supportive environment.

Your duties would include:

Daily review and maintenance of:

* Production time booked in factory

* Production confirmations of items produced

* Intercompany balances

* Stock adjustments and write offs

Month end duties to include:

* SAP close off process – agreeing CO to FI

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* Deviations reconciliation including commentary of variances

* Calculation and analysis of work in progress

* Preparation for Scrap – graphs and analysis

* Forecast deviations to production expenses to BFC

* Further ad hoc analysis and accounts work too

Costings:

* Cover for producing and realising costings

* Identify and correct stock valuation errors

* Prepare costings for year-end revaluation

Personal skills and preferred experience include:

* Experience in a similar position advantageous but not essential

* Fantastic communication skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to work to deadlines, and manage any pressures involved

* Experience with using SAP desirable but not essential

* Confident in use of Microsoft Excel

Benefits & Hours:

* Salary up to £34,000 dependant on experience

* 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
