Accounts Manager
Bedford
£32,000 - £35,000 DOE
Our client is a longstanding business specialising within their sector, who are well known within the area and will always go the extra mile to provide an exceptional experience for their Clients. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join their busy and vibrant business based in Bedford.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Managing a team of 2 purchase ledger clerks on a daily basis.
Management of the Purchase Ledger, including:
Supplier account creation
Invoices and authorisation
Payment runs and ad-hoc payments
Statements
Queries
Remittances
Subcontractors
Invoices and authorisation
Statements
Queries
Remittances
CIS verification with HMRC
CIS deductions and statements
Project costing
Credit cards
Journals
Project/nominal costing
Sales ledger
Raising of customer care invoices
Posting and allocation
Credit control
Reporting
Management Reports
Project transaction reports
Overhead budget reporting
Retention reports
Creditors and debtors reports
Cost analysis and transactions
Hire costs
Query report
Bank
Reporting to the Directors
Transfer and allocation to Sage
BACS/CHAPS payments
Reconciliation
